Can anyone tell me how to find which handheld GPS units give a location as an Ordnance Survey map reference? I made the mistake of getting a Geko 301 without checking and it only gives me longitude and latitude, with no option to change. Alternatively, I have a TomTom Navigator 6 GPS receiver that I use in the car with my Dell Axim X51V. Can I get a programme that I could install on the PDA that would give me my location as an OS map reference? Question

Hi, I have the e-trex, similar to the geko, and it will give a position in ordinance survey, you need to change the units on the geko. Look here, this is saying it has ordinance suryey.

"Map Datums 25 (inc Ordnance Survey)", look under "specoification"

That's brilliant! You know better than Garmin (Europe), who, when I asked them, told me the Geko was only compatible with lat/long and not OS BNG. I thought I was going to have to dump my Geko, so you have saved me. Thanks
