TomTom travelling speed

Hey,

When I am travelling on the motorways at 70mph (on the car speedo) my tomtom one is showing I am going at 65mph.

Which one is correct? Am I safe going up to 75mph on my speedo (that is when it shows 70 on the tomtom)...

So is the tomtom accurate, or the car speedo... ? and are maybe some of the newer navigations more accurate than the tomtom?

Oooh you little tinker, that has to be one of the most oft asked questions!

The answer is the GPS is far more accurate than your speedo in 'most' circumstances but rather than repeat information that has been posted dozens of time I'd suggest a quick search of the forums. Here is one example of many on this subject
