Anyone heard of this technology (http://sensordynamics.com.au/MobileANPRSolutions/tabid/56/Default.aspx) being used anywhere for speed enforcement?

Reading between the lines, the fact that they capture the GPS location with the data means it's theoretically possible with two of them to calculate your average speed (if the distance is far enough to eliminate minor GPS error).

Not aware of any being used for speed enforcement and it would be highly unlikely, GPS measurement simply isn't accurate enough. It would be much simpler to deploy a LiDAR system.

ANPR itself is widely used here with both static traps and in-car systems and I'm all for it!
