Lost my maps and Plus services!

Hi,

Interested to hear if anyone else has suffered this issue.

I first realised their was a problem last week when trying to use GPRS traffic that I kept getting an error message saying their was a server error and to try again (I did for several hours and still does not work).

I then bought a map upgrade on the weekend but found couldn't login to my account using HOME (again a server error message), though I could download speed camera and map updates which is odd.

When I went on to the TomTom website and checked the "MyTomTom" area I was surprised to see the message "No Services available" were once all my services (traffic, maps, voices, cameras, etc.) where listed. If I click on "My Traffic" or the other PLUS services I get that server error message again.

So paid up for a new map and no way to download it - just phoned support and they are equally puzzled.

I read somewhere else here that someone had the same issue with GPRS traffic as I, and that they had their traffic sub extended by support - strange thing is so did I - I wonder if that's just coincidence?

TT support may be puzzled, that's pretty normal for them!
But they are the only ones who can get it sorted out. I think you need to ring them again.

They are "researching" the issue, so it's in their hands.....

Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
