safety cameras not working after device repair

I have been using TT6 on a Pocket Loox PDA with the free safety cameras that were associated with the DVD that I purchased. Recently I had the device repaired and the device code changed. I had to change the activation code via TomTom website to allow the maps to be accessed and this works but the safety camera POIs do not show up despite being on the SD card where they were before the repair.
I tried reinstalling from my PC where the originals are stored but TomTom Home will not allow this as it is not the original device code. I suspect it will also play up when I try to install maps

Questions:
1. Can I get TomTom home to recognise my "new" device to allow installation of maps etc.
2. How do I get the safety camera POIs to work? ( I suspect if I get an affirmative answer to 1 than I could simply reinstall the POIs and they will work)

I recently (actually yesterday) went through this same process, except it was slightly more complicated as my replaced phone was actually the third device I'd used in as many weeks. TomTom allow the device ID to be changed one every 6 months, so if this is your second device you shouldn't have too many problems. Go to the TomTom main site and logon, then click the link that allows you to change your device. There should be a box at the bottom of the screen that allows a new device ID to be entered, do that and hopefully it will be accepted. You will also need to the "Plus Services" section and you should see a "Reset" button, press this and now all the Plus Services should work with the new phone.

Since this was my third device, activation of the maps wouldn't work. Luckily I had a second TT6 available that I able to use.
