As per my previous post how do I transfer the spoken warnings for the speed cameras from a backup of an old 920 to a new one I am hoping that I do not have to type them all in again.

If you typed it in the first one then you will need to type it in to the new one but if you used ogg files then just copy and past them

Copy the MapSettings.cfg file from the backup to the map folder on the new device and it should carry the settings with it - Mke

Maybe...
Worth a try, but there ARE differences between the MapSettings.cfg file between the two models.
Have a play, it might well work, but BACK UP (with Windows Explorer) FIRST"!

An old backup from a 920 to a new One, I had read that as a new 920 in which case it will work, if by 'new One' you mean a different model then it might not work? - Mike

Embarassed I did read that as a "One". and was still thinking in terms of the previous post about transferring favourites from a TT910 to a TT520....

From one 920 to another 920? No problem!
