Done all this?
To run ReverseItn correctly on those Tomtom (Rider 2 (with v6), One XL, GOx10 or GOx20 (with v7)), perform the following actions :

* install ReverseItn on your Tomtom
* run it once, the screen is garbaged
* stop it by clicking in the lower right corner of the screen
* connect your Tomtom to your PC and edit the file /reverseitn/config.txt with Wordpad
* in this file, change the line screenadaptation none in screenadaptation rider2
* save your mods and re-start your Tomtom
* run ReverseItn, the screen is OK

If you have problems you can usually contact the author HERE

I haven't even got that far.
When I unzip the download file I expect to see at least 2 files, one called 'tripmaster_v1.5.cab'. and also 'tripmaster_v1.5.toc'.
Unfortunatly I cant find any files with an extension '.cab' or '.toc'

I just downloaded and extracted them fine here.
What DO you get?

They are pretty small files so I could email them to you if you PM me with your address.

Hi Andy, I have downloaded the rev itn file and tried uploiading it to my tomtom home. It appears on the Home page as 'Webazar ReverseItn v1.4 (1.0) and is 660KB but I seen no .cab or .toc files there.
I check the little box to install, then Click the green Install arrow.
I get a quick prompt that it is installing to tomtom but in the 'My rider' section no sign of the application appears.
What should I expect to see in the My Rider section (or indeed on my tomtom)?

Thanks for your help.
Andy

I've never used the program myself, but I did try installing it when you first asked about it.

If you download the program, it should arrive on your PC as a zip archive. From your last post back in Feb. you said you got that far, but could not extract the two files from it. Is that still where you get stuck?

What exactly happens when you right click on the zip archive and select "extract all"? Do you get two files?
You said you cannot see any files with .cab and .toc. Is that just because you haven't set up Windows to show the file extensions?

-------------------------------
To show file extensions on a Windows PC:
Windows Explorer (or My Computer) TOOLS / FOLDER OPTIONS / VIEW Tab /
In the "Advanced settings" section:-
TICK "Show hidden files and folders" and
UN-TICK "Hide extensions for known file types"
--------------------------------

Lets ensure you have those two files before we go any further. Smile
