how do i delete v9 maps from my nuvi 360?

I have v10 maps to load but not enough room on the unit with the v9 maps loaded. How do I delete the v9 maps from the unit ?

make sure you back up the nuvi to your computer first. i then deleted the the gmapprom.img file that was about 180,668 kb. once that was deleted i had no probs loading the new maps. i only paid £47 for my maps. how much was yours.
