TOMTOM and Navman 3400 Jacket latest

Ok,I know this has come up before, but I was wondering if anyone out there actually uses succesfully TOMTOM with a Navman 3400 jacket on a IPAQ 5550?

I have been really happy with this pda other than the persistent freezing when using tomtom and the jacket. Im not really sure who to shout at TOMTOM/HP or NAVMAN any ideas?

Ive tried reformatting the sd card (even tried a diffrent one)
Ive tried re-installing from scratch
Ive tried Installing Smart St SP2 before installing tomtom (this then negates the need to install the separate serial driver)
Ive tried only installing GPS software only TOMTOM without any addons or any other software installed on the pda whatsover
Ive Tried ive tried!!!!!!

Any advice/help appreciated
