Sat Nav In Car Mount Project - please help

Hello All

I would like you to tell me which Portable Sat Nav you have, what type of in car mount it uses and the flaws or frustrations you experience with it. You may also suggest reasonable ideas.

The Reason: I am a University Student currently looking into an alternative mount for a portable sat nav device. The reason I am currently looking into this is because I believe some of the mounts that are supplied with the devices are frustrating and do not lend themsleves to a good user experience which is needed when using a device taht can be frustrating any way.

One example might be the TomTom, for instance, where I have expereinced the sucker coming away form the windscreen every 5 minutes.
