Nearby POI Alerts

Have installed the Speed Camera Database on my One XL along with the spoken voice alerts.
All is working well apart from the alerts being triggered from nearby speed cameras on roads near to the motorway I am travelling along. I have set up the distances as recommended on the forum but left the Warn only if POI is on route box unticked as I don't want to lose the alerts when I am not navigating.
Is there an easy solution to this problem or is something I have to live with?

Unfortunately it's something we have to live with.

Any POI that has a Warning Distance set will be picked up if it is within that distance to the front or side.

I thought that might be the case, I have just cut down some of the distances so hopefully that will help. Thanks...
