i have just bought this off a mate who did not use it but the poi's i think there called are in yards not meters can i change them to meters and if so how thanks for your help in addvance

Tap Change Preferences
Scroll through to "Set Units"

Switch from miles to kilometres.

Everything like POI warning distances will now be set in metres.

Unfortunately there is no way to "mix" between different units (eg miles and metres).
