Hi,
Have had my clipon for about 4 months, perhaps less than average
useage.
although worked fine all last week now find when trying to charge will
not change from orange light.
In use green light (battery) last about 2 minutes then turns red Sad
Have removed battery in hope of resetting unit but to no avail.
Will get a fix using external power but battery life looks to
be very limited.
Anyone else having similiar probs and is it a battery issue ?

Cheers

I'va had my Clipon for a couple of months now and have had no problems (fingers crossed!). I do recall someone having battery probs before I bought mine, and it turned out to be the battery contacts - might be worth checking.

Other than that, it could well be a duff battery. Are you able to borrow someone elses battery from either a Clipon or a Nokia 'phone (I don't know which Nokia model it is, but some of them are the same size and are interchangeable).

If all else fails, I assume the Clipon is still under warranty !

Good luck.

Steve

All seems to be well now. Removed battery and left unit standing
for a while.
Perhaps its little brain got confused as its last use was onboard
east coast mainline trains.
It tracked route along railway line fairly well and was showing speeds
up to 124 mph and that was just showing max of 4 sats while placed
on table.
Thank you tomtom for showing rail lines on your mapping

Cheers

My clipon is a bit flaky. Sometimes it refuses to connect to my ipaq unless I switch to st mode and back again. Has some strange battery behaviour too.
