Another Clip-On Battery issue

The Clip-On is a great GPS receiver apart from the dodgy battery setup.

Previously I would recharge the unit before it went totally flat but the other week I made the mistake of letting it run flat. Now the bloody thing won't recharge.

I've tried removing and replacing the battery, switching on and off, charging when switched on and nada.

Any ideas on how I can get this unit recharging ??

Got is sorted now. :D

What I did was to:

(1) Connect lead to charge Clip-On. Orange light comes on.

(2) Remove battery cover and then the battery. Orange light stays on.

(3) Re-insert battery. Orange light flickers off then back on.

(4) Approx 4hrs later battery charged.

Just discovered exactly the same issue, thanks for the tip. Moved the battery around and it went from green to red. This was a new battery as I assumed the old battery was dead. Still its always handy to have 2 batteries
