I've read somewhere that it's possible to listen to my ipaq 2210 and tomtom over the car stereo system b fitting an fmtransmitter card.
Is this correct? does if fit in the flash card slot? is it easy to do and do they work ok? can anyone reccomend a decent one to buy?
All help and advise is as always greatly appreciated.

you can get one of URL these

I got one, it does the job but not great quality and wouldn't really recommend buying from Merconnet as I found their customer service to be really poor but think they are the only UK supplier.[/url]

The FM Transmitter's are normally supplied as part of a cradle and connect via the headphone socket. They're also illegal in the UK.

yeah, I've got one. Broadcasts from around 88-107 FM, get too much interference though.

not recommended (and as pointed out, it's illegal)

Thanks for the replies, i think i'll use an old mobile mount and adapt it so i can use the speaker from it, it's got a decent volume control as well.
