| how do i enable poi cam alets on garmin c 310 they are on the unit stored in custon poi but i drive past several gatso cams and it nevr alerts me of any of them... |

Were you over the speed limit as you approached at the time?
What happens if you plan a route past a known camera and ask the Sat Nav to run a demo?
Are the cameras definately in the database? Check the map Click Here |

The Camera alerts do not happen if you are more than 5mph under the speed limit.
Don't know if that helps, but it had me confused until I understood this.
On another note, the audible alarm works with the voice, so if you have voice directions turned off, you will get no audible camera warning, though you will still get a visual one. |

Could it be that the speedcams are in custom pois be the problem? Anyone else know, folks? |

that's where the garmin units store them.
in the nuvi's there is an option in the settings for roximity alerts and you need to tick a box for custom poi alerts to be activated - not sure if it exists in the c310?
