Hi guys
Just bought an S90i and been reading your posts with interest.
I've come across a really strange one. Dont know if any of you want to try it out to see if you get the same.
If I try to do a route to Birlin Germany (Apparently anywhere in Berlin but I chose Birlin, Birlin and went to the centre) it calculates the route, tells you about Ferries and Toll roads and then transports itself to the middle of Birlin and starts to reroute - ends up about a 6 mile journey.
So it actually thinks its GPS possition is in Berlin, dispite actually being in Birmingham UK.
If you cancel the route it still thinks you are in Berlin. If you route to somewhere else, it calculates the route from Birlin and then corrects itself back to the correct GPS location.
It works fine for any other routes in other countries, and also for any other destinations in Germany. I have not come across any other locations that this happens with.
So if you want to go to Berlin - you are out of luck!
By the way I tried this before and after installing the service pack.
I've logged it with Navman but not had any answers yet. Im not expecting to go to Birlin any time soon, but they still need to fix the problem.
Let me know if anyone gets the same issue. |

Sounds very strange. Just checking, though how are you spelling BERLIN when you enter into your S90i ? Just ask in view of the repetition of Birlin, above

Have the same problem when I'm stressed with my devices
As far as your problem is concerned, I think it is just one of those anomolies which occur with technology.
