920T Read aloud traffic option

Can anybody help me I have the TMC Reciever plugged into my 920T and have selected Kate as the computer voice but in Traffic options I cannot select read aloud traffic info as it is greyed out as well as show traffic route and minimise traffic delays

Is the TMC detected?

Do you have the traffic sidebar with a green circle to show that it is locked on to a TMC signal?

Have you got a route planned?
