I have a new high speed 4gb SD card and have tried reloading a back up and copying my existing card to it but unable to get the unit to run from it.
Help

Did you use HOME, or Explorer, for the backup?

Explorer is generally the favoured Option.

Have you tried a Reset?

Does the original card still work?

Checking the two Cards with Explorer, do they both have the same files and is the Used Space the same on both.

"Normal" SD cards usually have a maximum capacity of 2GB.
Most 4GB (and above) cards use a different technology called SDHC (SD High capacity). No Tom Toms other than the new x20 models can use these, so that is probably your problem.

There are a couple of brands that DO make compatible ("non-SDHC") 4GB cards. Topram and Trans-something ring a bell. A forum search for 'SDHC' will find more details.
