Battery Status via BT?

Anyone know if it's possible to get the battery status of a Clip-on via a bluetooth connection?

It would be nice to know before I go out with it how long it will last - that way I could charge it if necessary but not run it thorugh a charge cycle if it's not needed.

I'm not aware of any method of viewing the battery status other than the indicator lights.
My understanding is that the battery low signal, red light on the power indicator, will appear 30 mins before it stops working. Then its a 3 hours recharge time.
