updates + map corrections on go710

hi, ive just updated my go710 to v7.161 and everything seems to be running just fine, but im still using western europe v6.60 map, what i would like to know is if i update the map to v710 will i get to use the download map corrections option which is grayed out at the moment as the 6.60 map has a number of roads in the wrong place. also am i right in thinking i need a much larger sd card and what is the max size card i can use in a go710.

Yes, to Map Corrections.

Maybe, it depends on which V710 Map you get. The Western Europe is 1785MB so will fit nicely on a 2GB Card.

4Gb (not SDHC) will work OK.

But be warned....
If you try to buy a map at the moment it PROBABLY won't download properly. See this forum for loads of repeated cries for help on this issue.

TT are apparently working on a new map as well, because of un-specified problems with the one they were going to offer under the "latest map guarantee" program.
