Best SD card for Tom Tom One 1st version?

I'd like to buy a new SD card for my TT1 1st version. What would be the most suitable one and does it matter if it's hi-speed or standard?

Am I able to use a 2gb card? I want to make sure I have enough room to add a USA map as well as the GB map.

Any make will do, but not a cheapie oo flung dung, japanese, never heard of it, make sure its a well known make. You can use up to 4GB cards, but make sure its not a SO** type card, can't remember the type not to buy, will post back if I remember. The card must be a fast read.
