hi i have a f30 and put it down by the gear stick this picks up GPS and directs me on the trip but doen't pick up every camera when i had it on the dash it picked up these same cameras will an antenna do the trick also could i connect it to my radio antenna
could anybody tell me if i could put new vioces on this machine
i am waiting for a connectivity kit then i will be subscribing to get the new poi

This doesn't follow...
The Navman doesn't "pick up" cameras by GPS. All it has is a list of positions in its memory, where you have told it a camera is.
The GPS tells the Navman where IT is, and the Navman then lets you know if it thinks a camera is nearby.

So... if the Navman is picking up the GPS signal OK and isn't getting lost, the fault must lie with the database of camera positions.
I don't know the Navman units at all, but where did you get the camera data from? Is it Navman's own, or the one from this site?

has i said i am waiting for the connectivity kit so i can get updates from this site the data was on when bought

You cannot use the car aerial to supplement the GPS signal as they operate in completely different frequency bands, something along the lines of This should improve reception if you really must have the unit buried in the console. - Mike

thanks for the aerial tip but found out that one of the cameras in poi was not ticked so ticked it and i will try again when i go out tomorrow
