Hi All,
I am about to buy a dedicated Sat-Nav system after using TomTom 6 on my mobile phone for a few months and not being able to set-up speed camera alerts.
I think that my requirements are:-
1. Clear Screen
2. Maps for U.K. and europe.
3. Bluetooth, so I can use my phone handsfree
4. Easy to fit in my pocket when I reach my destination
5. On the move traffic alerts.

At the moment I am thinking of the Garmin Nuvi 760T, but I would appreciate any suggestions from more experienced users.

Hi, I would say that the nuvi 760T fits all your stated requirements. I have just received mine and out of the box it certainly seems to be the business. It has a very bright clear screen and appears well made. I have not yet road tested it Very Happy
The best price I have found so far is handtec.co.uk. Good luck!

Hi Bradders2,

Thanks for the info, I've just been on the Handtec site and their price seems the best.

Looks like I'll be placing an order in the morning.

Hi again, please note that the 760T does not include a Garmin AC home Adapter/Charger. You can pick one up for £20 from Halfords. The part nomber is 010-10723-00. This is stated to be for the 200/300/600 series, but it fits the 760T as well. It has a mini USB connector, which plugs into the USB PC connectoin on the 760T unit.

Thanks for the info, I can always try bargaining. Not much hope at that price.
