TomTom 520 bluetooth reception?

Hi, does anyone else find the bluetooth facility on the 520 poor? Each time someone calls me they say that they can hardly hear me - is this normal for the TT or are there some settings I can alter to improve the sound?

It's a big issue, but there could be a couple of reasons...

1. there's an awful lot of units with a "buzzing" on the handsfree. TomTom have been insisting that it is a software problem which they are working on, but many believe it is a hardware fault and have taken their machines back for replacement (several times in some cases).
2. there's a "hidden" volume control that replaces the normal one while you are actually on a call. (but I think that only affects the IN-coming volume).

There are MANY previous posts about this, with better answers than mine (I don't even use hands-free!), a "Search" of just the TomTom part of the forum will find them if you use the right "keywords" (try "Handsfree" or "buzzing" or just "phone") and also look at the posts by "DennisN" who has the record for the number of returned TomToms!
It's well worth learning to use the search facility, it will save you loads of time.
