Do the roads that you edit change on the map instantly or do they have to be varified by TT? I have changed a few but nothing shows up on my maps. |

In the Map Corrections Menu, Select Download corrections made by others | Continue and check that Corrections I made myself is ticked. _________________ Richard

Only the limited edits made using the icons on the FIRST page of the correction choices are seen on your map immediately (and are sent to others via Mapshare.
Any others are simply reported to TomTom, who may or may not send them to TeleAtlas, who may or may not add them to a future map release, that you will have to pay for. Good eh? |

I have tried edit a POI to correct a petrol station location - no effect.
Under report other error / no right turn no effect, round-a-bouts, no effect
So overall it's just a marketing con...

i edited a poi today and it moved it no problems... also blocked a road and that was fine.
but when i added a new road nothing apeared (ut then this option is on the '2nd page' as andy calls it so will not show straight away)... shame the road's been there since about 1850!!!
