Is there any way to get TT6 to only use A roads or Motorways? I've just done two cross country routes where it keeps trying to take me down B roads. I've tried changing route preferences but the choices are limited. |

If set to fastest it should generally go for motorways and A roads, which route profile did you select? the shortest route gives stuipd plannings and will often take B roads and such like, the shortest profile is about the most useless planning mode in existance.
Also could you say where the journey starts and finishes then others can take a look to suggest something, if fastest profile isn't working as you want you could add a Via to the route to force it in the motorway, there is no way of selecting just motorway or A roads - Mike |

Thanks for replying, It's academic now but I was in the Lake district travelling the main A road from Ambleside to Windemere and it kept telling me to go off on side (B) roads. Weird. |

Non of my units do that unless I set them to plan a shortest route - then you can very strange behaviour from the device, from between the two locations you specified I only get routed along the main A road irrespective of planning mode - Mike |
