Hi everyone.Bought a myguide 3100 from Halfords for £69.99 yesterday.Absolute bargain.Easy to setup and use.Tried it yesterday.Route reclac is very quick.Have put the speed cameras on and they work fine.Question is do you load the POI's in the same way putting them into the POI folder using active sync.

No, you'll need THIS free programme to do it for you.

These are the instructions I gave in another post when someone asked about Asda POI's.

Download Asda.CSV file and save the file to a folder in My Documents then unzip folder.

Start iGO POI Explorer and select File - Import POI's from file.

Navigate to where you saved the Asda.CSV folder - change 'files of type' from Google Earth KML to CSV POI file and you'll see the Asda file.

Drag and drop the Asda POI folder into the left hand window of iGO POI Explorer.

Left click, and hold, on the Asda folder and drag it over the iGO POI Database icon.

The file will then be transferred.

What does one do with the .bmp image files, just copy across Question
Do you have to do the .csv files one at a time?

Start iGO, tap on Map, tap on Menu (top right), tap on Quick (bottom centre) - Manage POI's - My POI, tap on your new Group once, to highlight it, then tap on Edit (centre of screen) and select an appropriate icon. Arrow back (three times) and tap on Menu.

Tap on POI - My POI and you should see your new Group.

The built in iGO POI icons appear to be embedded in the programme and I can find no way of adding/changing them.
