Hiya all
Ok im already a registered TomTom2 user, and I need to replace the stuff nicked from the car
I have the iPAQ 2210 so I need to know everything that i need to buy, gonna sort it out this week
Im not really bothered to be honest whether or not its Bluetooth, its only being used in the car, and unless there is a really good reason as to why I should use BT then im probably gonna stick with the permanently mounted/hardwired system
I need a really good mount coz the last one I found crap to be honest, and then I need all the leads to connect it all up.. a lot eaiser when you are buyin it all in the package, its all a bit different when u gotta buy the bits
Any help appreciated guys!

It would be easier if we knew what was stolen? If your sole use will be in-car then I agree that a GPS Mouse would be the best solution. So you will need:
TomTom Navigator Software. Preferable a TTNav Wired GPS Bundle that gives you the software, GPS, all the cables you need and now they also come with a TT Car-Kit.
That should give you everything you need. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hiya
I already hae TomTom2 software, it is not in the car its on the iPAQ and as such the software was indoors not stolen
This being the case, the costs come down a fair old bit without the software I would assume, so I basically need everything barr the iPAQ, and the TomTom2
I was hoping to get some suggestions really i suppose as well about the best Reciever to use, the TomTom one I had was from Version 1 of there software, I received TT2 as an upgrade, and im sure there must be better models now on the market, but as im still fairly new to all this, I didnt know what to get
Thanks for any assistance

All the Leadtek GPS Mice (which TomTom re-badge) are superb. I prefer Brodit Mounts to TomTom's but it is a personal choice. You could get a Brodit mount with built-in sync port for the 2210 and hook the Leadtek up to the mount. Then you just need to slide the 2210 in to get power and GPS feed. We have reviews of the Brodit under the accessories link and Leadteks under the Hardware section _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yes, 2210 and 2215 are the same unit, just a different model no. to identify which markets they were sold through. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I read it, looks great, but doesnt say anything about the iPAQ 2215 being supported, is it? |

It is. The 2210/15 shares the same conector with earlier iPAQ models. _________________ Darren Griffin |
