Garmin have released a Limited Edition nuvi 250 in Pink. An official release doesn't seem to exist but a quick Google for 'Pink Garmin' pulls up a few shops already selling them. The Pink nuvi 250 features European mapping and, other than the colour, is the same as a standard Grey one.
We have a fair few members of the female persuasion at PGPSW but is the limited edition Pink Nuvi 250 pushing it a bit to get the girls interested in sat-nav just in time for Christmas?

At least a standard grey/black unit blends in with the dashboard and trim of the car, whereas this pink version would tend to stand out a bit.
On a more positive note, you might be able to leave it in your car without worrying so much about it being stolen _________________ Andy

Gucci, Chanel, Roberto Cavalli, Dior, Prada and Garmin, not sure if the last name has the same feel about it. _________________ TomTom Go 60

Now there’s a trick, GJF – design one with the Luis Vuitton or Dior monogram on it and away you go – just ready for all the fashion victims in time for Christmas!
(I shouldn't laugh, it will probably catch on one day!! )

As sure as God made little green apples it'll catch on
BTW, Carphone Warehouse were the originators of the pink RAZR phones - they ordered a customised batch from Motorola and shifted 400,000 (including 1 to my daughter) in their first quarter.
Colour aside, the value of co-branding with the current mega fashion brands would just be too tempting for the SatNav brands to pass up. I'd be very surprised if you didn't start witnessing a slew of announcements in the coming months! _________________ Robert Brady |

Oh here we go with the bling... Gucci diamond studded, pink, and shiny. The casing'll be worth more than the device. _________________ Dom

What I don't get is why manufacturers think that all females like pink. Pink phones, pink Ipods, pink headphones, etc. etc. etc.
Why can't we have some decent purple technology? Now that I would buy!
Maybe I should speak to the Cadburys people...

i don't think that the assumption is that ALL females like pink stuff, more like they decided if something is pink they will sell more in the female market.
i actually quite like the pink stuff (tho i'm a bloke...)
