navman maps help.

I have a navman ICN 650 with v2 maps, with Scotand and Ireland maps installed and it had English maps on the memory card but I bought a bigger memory card so copied all the information to my PC but when I copy it back on to the new card it won't work in my navman.Can anybody please help I am completly lost

I doubt you have an iCN650, as it does not take memeory cards, and has all of Europe installed on teh internat hard disk.

If you have one of the other iCN 6xx series, then the problem is likely to be a registration/activation problem. Use the Smart St desktop and find the option "recover keys" - or something similar, I think it's under tools.

You should use SmartST to copy the maps from the CDs, as when copying files it si posible to make mistakes, which Smart ST will prevent.

If the UK maps were purchased on the SD card, then they may be registered against the SD card serial number, so will not work on any other card.
