Most accurate/up to date for UK in TT6 650.1046 or 660.1195

Does anyone know, after using both, which is the most accurate/up to date for UK driving using TT6 - map V650.1046 or map v660.1195

Hi,

the most accurate map for UK is neither of them - it is the v675, available for download from TT and then maps.

V675 UK is maybe the latest but not the most accurate for the UK, certainly not in my area, The most accurate for UK is V675 Western Europe but I cannot speak for the rest of the UK, The only difference I can see is that UK is Teleatlas and the Western Europe is Navteq and doesnt show waterways

Yes sure I have just rechecked and My version is 675 build 1322 and confirms as Navteq on screen details, v675 build 1409 is TeleAtlas and I believe 675 build 1256 is also Navteq, I stick to 1322 because certainly in my area is more uptodate than 1409, Obviously I cannot speak for the rest of the Map, As said before the navteq maps seem to lack the waterway details if this important to you, one other thing the Navteq maps appear to be slightly smaller in size than Teleatlas by approx 10mb.also note that teleatlas does not signify as such on screen only Navteq if this helps

Thanks for all the excellent info. Is there any difference in speed of loading & use etc, between the TeleAtlas and Navteq maps. Also, are both maps Western Europe & how well do they cover the areas outside the UK

There is no noticable difference in normal use but obviously but because WE has more detail than Uk and routing is over longer distance then We is slower than UK, Cannot comment on areas outside UK because I havent used it outside Uk, I normally have both Uk 675(Teleatlas) and WE 675 (Navteq) Installed on my 2gb card so that I can switch to either
