POI database format conversion

Hi everyone.

I am a newbie here so, forgive me for asking a question that may have been asked previously.

I would like to know if there is a way of converting the POI's with .CPD extension (in my old AA navigator) to .csv or .ov2 format?

The reason I wish to do this as the AA unit has died, but it has some excellent POI's, which I backed up on PC.

I would like to usesome of the POI's like Parking, which is sadly lacking in my new Tom Tom 720. Other POI's I have down loaded relating to parking are also lacking.

IIRC the AA POI format is encrypted so this won't be possible. if you email me a sample file I can confirm that for you.

As suspected, these files are encrypted and so the data cannot be extracted. Sorry.
