Pardon me for being so stupid but....

Which is the best file format to download for speed cameras

Single file?

or

Speed Zoned?

or

consolidated?

ie which one will alert and tell me the camera set speed, and also the speed at which I am driving currently as I approach?

I use the Consolidated File. It warns me of the camera set speed in a bar across the top of the screen - i.e. GATSO:12345@30 where GATSO is the camera type, 12345 is the camera reference number and @30 is the speed. The icon it displays shows the camera type and not the speed.

The Speed Zoned will display the speed both as above and on the camera icon on screen.

The Single File will show the same camera icon regardless of type and speed but you'll still get the warning across the top.

You have to use your speedo to see what speed you are currently doing.

Whilst you have a current subscription you can download each file type and try them out one at a time and see which you prefer.
