Tomtom one v2 blutooth phone pairing

Quick question .
I originaly paired my phone with my V2 , then modified the menu with tomtom menu builder , now i have a new phone , the phone icon is not available on the menu builder options . If i temp remove the TomTom.mnu folder and boot from the original tomtom version. Can i add the new phone, then reinsert the TomTom.mnu icon . Or will i lose the new phone settings applied to the V2.

What you are proposing to do sounds fine, get the phone paired up with the device using the default menu, then re-instate the custom menu - Mike
