Tom Tom GO 520

Hey everyone. I'm after some buying advice. I used to have a TomTom One GB, until a capsized canoe put an end to that (long story). I need a new unit quickly. I've got three questions...Looking at the GO 520, it seems like an ideal upgrade. The questions are -

1 Will the French map I bought for the One (stored on my Tom Tom Home app also work on the GO 520 GB?
2 Is it worth the additional £120 over the One?
3 How can I check the compatibility of the 520 with my mobile phone?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

The map should work once activated however some of the newer features of the version 7 software may not be available when using the France map (map share, enhanced POI and speed limit warning spring to mind as possible areas that won't work)

If you value the TomTom as a handsfree kit for your phone in the car then the 520 is a good choice as the One does not offer handsfree capability.

What mobile phone do you have, then others might be able to advise if it will work with the new devices, there is a list of compatible handsets on the TomTom web site butit is not a comprehensive list of compatible handset, it only lists the ones they have tested -Mike
