Hi

on Route 66, using the Route 66 camera database it loaded ok, but how do you set it to warn you when you approach it, I know Tom Tom has a function to warn when near cammeras can you not do this on Route 66?

Also why is there no postcode search? or am I lookin in the wrong place?

cheers

What version of Route 66 are you using and on which type of device?

For POI Warnings on the PPC version I use Main Menu/ Points-Of-Interest/ POI Alarm, select the POI category you want from the list

Set the position where the warning should be displayed

Set a distance

The final screen allows you to select a sound file and set warn only on route (if you want this)

Full postcode support only became a supported feature on more recent releases of the software, my version supports three digit postcode but will not use full seven digit codes - Mike

It looks quite a nice device you have there, I would have a read through the instructions I posted a while back on configuring Route 66 for the Speed Camera Database which can be found Here

The WM6 OS should not be an issue, I have R66 running on my Artemis which I upgraded to WM6 last night and it warned of cameras when I used earlier today (I do have an activation problem however since changing the OS, but this is a seperate issue) - Mike
