Yes, it will work, but if it's not on TomTom's list, they won't support it. Also, they've taken the 'screen rotate' function out, so you need a third party app. to use Landscape mode now.

I think you'll need Windows 2003SE as a minimum too.

No you don't. HP never released WM2003SE for the 555x iPAQs. WM2003 is enough.
