Bluetooth GPS

Hi!

I've had a GlobalSat 308 BT GPS along with my Palm running TomTom for a few years, but I don't have a car, so i only use it for navigation on foot and almost every time I've needed it the battery has been discharged or the poor performance of the transmitter has spoiled the experience.

My father has a similar setup, but with a Holux 236, which works great, so I thoughd I'd buy one like his, but I have seen that there is a new M1000 out, which is cheaper - would this be a better option?

And how about the GPSSlim 240? What's the benefit of this model?

Any receiver with SiRF III or MTK chipset is good.
