EXCEPT: I have downloaded the latest maps, update says everything is hunky dory, I have joined mapshare.
One suspicious thing, in TT Home, under MapShare Preferences, there are no countries shown. I would have expected UK & Ireland which is my map.
Have I missed a setting? Or something else obvious? |

| Probably a server error at the TT end of the chain, quite a few others have been reporting this recently, I assume you have updated to version 8,010 and have a version 810 map on the new device? - Mike |

Its working now.
So either TomTom did something to their servers, or the fact I rebooted my PC overnight, nothing else changed at my end |

I downloaded Western Europe 810 last night and am getting exactly the same mapshare message. I'll try again later.
I was surprised though to find the corrections I had made on my old map have come through on the new one, without being able to download them via mapshare. and I've only copied my Mapsettings file over which, I'm sure, doesn't include map corrections.

Me too.
I just bought a 720 and used my LMG. I have not yet downloaded any mapshare corrections and yet some changes I made to the A30 in Cornwall/Devon seem to have been incorporated.

Been considering this further - the changes I made must have been incorporated in the new map as the only files I have copied over have been poi files (I think). Perhaps one of the experts can confirm where mapshare changes are stored?
