Cable Packard Bell 2030 to Garmin Etrex Venture GPS

I am considering buying TOM TOM software for my Packard Bell Pocketgear 2030.
I already own a Garmin Etrex Venture GPS and have checked with TOM TOM that it will accept data from this device.

My question is "Where would I buy a cable that would connect the Garmin Etrex Venture GPS device to the Packard Bell Pocketgear 2030 and can you predict any problems from trying to attempt this?

I would appreciate any help.

Unless PC-Mobile have a suitable cable (Http://www.pc-mobile.com) then another option is an eTrex to Serial Cable, a Packard Bell Serial Cable and a null modem adapter to connect the two leads.

Assuming you can source the correct cable or use the above there should be no problem connecting the two, select NMEA out on your eTrex and COM1 NMEA on the PPC and you'll be up and running

If you look at the compatibility list at the bottom of the GPS cables pages you can see PB2030 use the same interface as Viewsonic V35.
So any one of the following is suitable depenidng on your requirement:
