Getting POIs from Garmin for conversion...

Just got a TomTom Go 500 and dead pleased with it (after a real scare) bu now looking to take my POI's from my Garmin i3 and convert the, Does anyone know how to do this please?

Have a look at POIEdit which can convert to / from a number of different formats, also check out the POI downloads page on this site for good quality POI file sets. Bear in mind the number of Custom POI Categories you can have on a TomTom device, 39 if using version 5 software, 100 if running version 6 - Mike

Cheers got that m8! The only thing is it doesn't seem to like the .gpx that garmin seems to use? Got that from the memory card.

Tried saving the poi's from this site but gets stck on loading categories to pick from in both explorer and firefox for me?Strange...
