nuvi 200 splash screen

hey guys is there a way to change the start up splash screen on a nuvie 200. i have found info on other nuvies but notthis one, any help would be great

Never played with a 200, but I would have thought it had the same sort of mechanism for the splash screen as the 660 and 310 I have changed in the past. If there isn't a specific image on the 200 that is displayed as the startup screen then you will probably be out of luck. It has a JPEG picture viewer so you should be able to view the existing splash screen. When connected to your computer you should be able to find this image and then create a new image (with the same specs (size, colour depth etc)) as the original. On both the 660 and 310 the splash screen is one of the demo images on the unit.

Please backup your unit before modifying anything - if you delete/change something in error - you can get it back.
