can I replace the battery on my c320?

Hello again,

suddenly for an unknown reason it looks like the internal battery does not work anymore. I have contacted Garmin and they told me that it is cheaper to buy a new one as they would not repair it. Or better still, for £ 117.00 I should send this unit and they will replace it with a new c320. Any suggestion?

You are probably best just junking your C320 and buying a new GPS which you can probably get for £117 with 12 months guarantee + New updated maps which are probably newer than you have.

If you buy another Garmin you might save by just buying one with UK maps as you have all Europe on DVD which should work with the new unit.

Alternatively just buy a new one and sell the Maps DVD with the unlock code. Your DVD should I think work with upto 2 GPS so you can use the code on one more GPS. Look on Ebay to see what the DVD is worth with unlock.

I'd even be interested in the DVD myself as my C310 only has UK maps in detail.

Hi gcb, thank you for your honest answer, obviously I was hoping for a different one but still. if i do not buy another Garmin I will let you know about the DVD.
