Hi
Being a little fussy but I use my POI's to get me to places, and I also use the description area for info and phone numbers etc.
Is it possible to format the description into lines, I am sure there must be a delimiter, heres an example
Place name
Telephone number
further data 1
further data 2
at present it is
Place name, telepehone number, further
data 1, further data 2
I am more than happy to do these myself jujst would like to know if it is possible

You don't say which Device you are using.
I believe some of the Garmins can use further data on another line.

The Nüvi 3xx series will act upon a limited sub-set of html commands, that will allow you control of the formatting. If you switch to using .gpx files to defines your POI's rather than .csv's, you also have access to some predefined areas, for address/telephone number etc.
There are variety of ways of creating such .gpx files. For one such solution, click the link in my signature. |
