Has anybody had problems with a dodgy power connection on the TomTom One Version 1?
If so have you managed to fix it in some way? |

Not sure if it applies to the One v1 but I remember reports that some models had very stiff USB sockets and the cable needed a really good shove to make it click in fully.
In what way is it dodgy? Does the plug feel loose? Does it fail if you hold the plug still and wiggle the cable? |

The plug is quite loose, and the power goes off at random, so its running off the internal battery. |

No if you hold the plug and wiggle the cable its ok. I think it needs a new socket in the TomTom. |

Send it back? It should still be under guarantee (It's usually 2 years). |

The socket could just need resoldering to the pcb. |
