I was wondering if anyone has thought about being able to create POIs where you can enter Low Bridges & Width Restrictions?
I mean this would be really useful particularly to lorry drivers or those who may tow a caravan, so they don't get stuck under a railway bridge (lorries) & jammed in a narrow lane (both).
I have a vested interest in the Bridge Bashing as I'm a train driver & I regularly get delayed by lorries hitting bridges or getting stuck in jams caused by them!
How easy would it be to be able to create such a database, something along the lines of the speed camera one? |

There already are such POIs. See one such collection created by a forum member Robin Walton (robinwalton) here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I've just been asked to look out for, (and was very surprised I couldn't find) a POI file for Width Restrictions.
There seem to be a few around for low bridges, but I drew a blank on the widths.
Anyone seen one? |
