New Garmin Nuvi 7xx series.

I received my Nuvi 710 today and tried to register the unit on-line.
I was asked for the serial No. and registration code to be found on the yellow card in the box. I could not find the yellow card, and when I contacted the supplier I was told that everyone had the same problem.

I was given a free phone No. for Garmin, 08082 380000, and when I spoke to the lady there she said that it was a packaging error but asked for the unit serial number and within 10 secs gave me the Reg. Code.

O.K. Garmin had made an error but admitted it straight away and supplied the missing info straight away.

I am very impressed.

to be honest i've never been unimpressed with their service and it's only on rare occasions where people report issues with customer service from garmin
