navman f20 wont connect to my pc?

had to reformat my pc and now it wont connect.the 1st time i tried to let windows do it and it came up software not loaded properly.so i put the connection pack on myself and now it says not connected when i have switched it on.like i said ive done it before so dont know where im going wrong so if someone can give me a step by step guide i would appreciate that.thx

Quick test would be to try a different usb slot. It may seem like an odd fix, but only takes a second to try. If it were me, I'd uninstall the navman software, reboot, reinstall everything and then plug the device into the usb.

thx a lot worked right away when i tried that.wish you had been 2 minutes earlier just been and bought a flaming disc on e-bay .
