Brand new N20 broken already!

Hi,

I had filled up the internal memory with maps, and I was in the middle of downloading maps to an external card (1Gb) when it suddenly (too quickly) said it had finished. Since then, it doesn't believe that there are any maps on the internal memory, although it says only 31Mb free. The external card is not recognised at all. And I don't have any card readers to format the card seperately.

Any way to reset this system or to otherwise sort it out? I was setting it up for my Mother in Law and would really rather get it working than tell her she ought to take it back to the shop!

Turn it off via the button on the bottom.

best to stick any external maps on a sd card.The full3 cds are about 1.5 Gb.

I've had trouble with teh German "country" maps.I just don't load these.But maybe it's just my N20.
